AI Rankster("AI Rankster", "we", "us") provides a Shopify application and public website at airankster.com. Service provider details are in our Terms of Service.

When you browse our marketing website, we may process limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) to operate and improve the site.

• Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregate, cookieless page-view metrics on this site.
• With your consent, we may use analytics cookies (for example Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use the site.
• With your consent, we may load marketing tags through Google Tag Manager (for example Google Ads or Meta Pixel) when we run advertising campaigns.

When you install AI Rankster on your Shopify store, we process shop and product data from the Shopify Admin API to generate optimization output. We do not overwrite native product descriptions.

Shopify platform:Installation, account access, subscription billing, and payment processing are handled natively through Shopify's systems and APIs. Those flows are governed by Shopify's terms and privacy policies in addition to this policy.

• Encrypted Shopify OAuth credentials: offline access tokens, refresh tokens, and token expiry metadata (used only to call Shopify Admin API on your behalf).
• Shop-level settings and enrichment job status.
• Token usage aggregates (counts only, not generated copy).
• AI output is stored in Shopify metafields under namespace airankster, not as full-text content in our database.

AI Rankster does not request customer or order scopes and does not intentionally store customer personal data (PII) from your storefront shoppers.

We use service providers to host and operate AI Rankster, including Vercel (hosting and analytics), database infrastructure, OpenAI (AI processing), and — with your consent on the marketing site — analytics or advertising tools such as Microsoft, Google, or Meta. They process data only to provide the relevant service and under contractual safeguards where applicable.

• On uninstall: app access is revoked in our system by marking the shop session as uninstalled.
• Mode A retention: metadata required for continuity may be retained so merchants can reinstall without full reprocessing.
• customers/data_request: acknowledged and handled per Shopify compliance process.
• customers/redact: acknowledged; no customer records are expected to be stored by AI Rankster.
• shop/redact: processed as a mandatory compliance event. Related app-side shop data is deleted or anonymized as required.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies on our website. Contact us to exercise these rights.

This section applies to our public marketing website at airankster.com (not merchant stores or Shopify's own platforms).

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies (local storage, pixels, session recordings) to remember preferences or measure site usage.
